Our policy:

We will not sell, trade, or give your personal information to anyone except in these limited circumstances: (1) with your express consent, (2) when it is required by law, (3) when we have a good faith belief it is necessary to protect our rights or property, or (4) to any successor or purchaser in a merger, acquisition, liquidation, dissolution, or sale of assets. Your consent may not be required for disclosure in these cases, but we will attempt to notify you, to the extent permitted by law to do so.

We do not knowingly contact or collect personal information from children under 16. If you believe we have inadvertently collected such information, please contact us so we can promptly obtain parental consent or remove the information.

We do not allow any third-party advertising on our site.

How do we protect your information?

We take reasonable steps to secure your personally identifiable information against unauthorized access or disclosure. However, no security or encryption method can be guaranteed to protect information from hackers or human error. Should a data-breach occur, we will attempt to notify you within 72 hours of the breach detection.

What information do we collect?

For publication orders, we collect the information required in order to fulfill your order, including your name, e-mail address, and shipping and billing address information.

For our online ratings, we collect your name and e-mail address.

Our systems also log information including your browser, operating system, and IP address for troubleshooting purposes. We also use technologies like cookies (small files stored on your browser), to maintain your security as you move from page to page within the site.

What do we do with your information?

If you are a participant in one of our programs, we utilize the information you provide to generate and send your unique access link to our system. If your SYMLOG program requires you to obtain ratings from coworkers, your information will be used to personalize the message and unique access link sent to your coworker. We also use your information to personalize and create your custom reports. Your personal information as well as your custom reports will be visible to the professional consultant and/or administrator who is guiding you through the SYMLOG process.

If you are a coworker in one of our programs, we utilize your information to generate and send your unique access link to our system. Your personal information will also be visible to the professional consultant and/or administrator who is guiding the participant you are rating through the SYMLOG process. Your ratings may be anonymized and shown to the participant, depending on the nature of the program.

The actual ratings you submit may be anonymized and aggregated with other ratings for research purposes. No personally identifying information will be associated with such data.

We may also use your information to inform you of any changes to your account, changes to our privacy policy which may affect you.

Policy update notifications

This privacy policy was last updated on 05/25/2018. Our privacy policy may change from time to time. If we make any material changes to our policies, we will place a prominent notice on our website or application. If the change materially affects registered users, we will attempt to send a notice to you by email.
