Overview

Group members gain understanding of their group’s dynamics, the forces of unification and polarization operating, and the importance of individual differences. They develop a shared vision and comprehensive strategy for integrating individual strengths, resolving conflicts, fostering teamwork, and increasing productivity.

We have two approaches: Team Scan and Optimizing Team Performance

Optimizing Team Performance

Members of a group analyze the values shown in their team and by each member individually and plan changes to enhance their teamwork and productivity in line with team objectives.

Team Scan (Team 1)

This workshop is appropriate for an intact team who wish to examine issues related to the norms of the team as a whole, the way in which team members relate to one another, and the way the team accomplishes its work.

The intention is to have the whole group examine and discuss the survey results in a session ranging from four (4) hours to one day. Action planning or other team issues can be raised and integrated into the session as appropriate.

Optimizing Team Performance (Team 2)

This workshop is an intensive session for an intact team wishing to examine not only team issues, but also receive personal feedback from their co-workers on their perceived interpersonal effectiveness. The focus is on one’s own perceptions, an examination of the norms of the team as a whole, and each individual’s contribution to the overall effectiveness of the team.

The survey results are intended for examination and discussion in a teambuilding session with all members of an intact team present. Two to three days should be allowed together, preferably away from the work site.
